Chief Executive Officer, ROSC Solution Group
As CEO of ROSC Solutions Group Inc. (RSG), Dr. Carson McPherson is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the organization. He provides visionary leadership and oversees the design, implementation, and delivery of addiction treatment programs across Canada. Dr. McPherson's extensive experience includes managing a 75-bed residential addiction treatment centre as CEO for Cedars Cobble Hill, designing and implementing large-scale hospital-based programs, and operating supportive recovery houses in British Columbia.
In addition to his role at RSG, Dr. McPherson is the lead author of the Recovery Communities Guidance Manual (2022), which serves as the framework for recovery community programs not only at Lakeview but across Alberta. His contributions to this manual reflect his dedication to advancing recovery-oriented systems of care and providing comprehensive support for individuals on their journey to wellness.
Dr. McPherson holds a doctorate in social sciences as well as master’s degrees in science and business administration.
Chief Operating Officer, ROSC Solutions Group
Elizabeth has over 23 years of clinical experience as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC through BCACC) a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Multiple Addictions Therapist (CMAT, Financial Disorders).
Her areas of specialty are substance use disorder, compulsive sexual behaviors, trauma and disordered eating. Most of Elizabeth’s career has been in Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment, and often in leadership roles. She has served as the Clinical Director at Edgewood West, where she not only supported the inpatient facility but also aided in developing and maintaining 6 Outpatient offices in BC, Alberta and Washington State. She also supported Bellwood in Toronto as their interim Clinical Director as they joined EHN.
Additionally, she was the Clinical Director for Cedars at Cobblehill before and during the pandemic. She also helped design and implement a program in Estevan, Saskatchewan and offered clinical oversight. She has extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient settings and enjoys developing programmes and supporting individuals and families struggling with substance use disorder. Elizabeth uses an integrative approach to treating clients. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); solution-focused, family therapy, trauma-informed care and Accelerated Resolutions therapy. She is especially passionate about programme development that helps clients build recovery capital to support their relationships and lives.
Senior Director of Programs, ROSC Solution Group
Bill Caldwell is the Senior Director of Programs at RSG, overseeing all bed-based services and leading program development across the organization. With over 20 years of experience in addiction and mental health treatment, Bill has worked as a counsellor, coach, consultant, and director in both residential and outpatient settings. He is passionate about creating compassionate, effective systems of care that support long-term recovery. Outside of work, Bill enjoys scuba diving, motorcycle riding, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with his daughter, Georgia. He brings a deep commitment to healing and innovation to everything he does at RSG.
Executive Director
Greg brings over 30 years of leadership experience across public service and healthcare. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles supporting acute and long-term care environments and has contributed to the development of addiction recovery programming in Southeast Saskatchewan. Greg is known for steady, people-first leadership, a practical approach to improvement, and a strong commitment to building healthy teams and sustainable systems of care. His work is guided by values of service, accountability, and collaboration, with a focus on creating environments where people can do their best work and those they serve can thrive.
Outside of his professional role, Greg values time with family and community, and enjoys staying active and grounded through time outdoors.
Director of Operations
Jeff brings over 13 years of experience in the field of addiction treatment. With a strong background in clinical supervision, he has served in a variety of leadership roles focused on program development, team building, and delivering client-centered care. Jeff holds academic credentials in social sciences and leadership from Vancouver Island University and Royal Roads University. His work is guided by the values of collaboration, connection, and integrity, and he draws on both professional expertise and lived experience.
Outside of his professional role, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters. He finds balance through travel to warm destinations, camping, playing sports, and exploring the great outdoors.

As Clinical Director, Lliam provides strategic oversight of The Healing Institute’s therapeutic programs and ensures clinical excellence across all services. Drawing on his own recovery journey and academic training, Liam has developed a leadership style that balances evidence-based practices with compassion and innovation.
In his leadership role, he collaborates closely with senior management to develop programs that meet the complex needs of clients and uphold THI’s commitment to trauma-informed, individualized care.

Jackie Muth is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in addiction medicine and healthcare management. As the Medical Director, Jackie oversees all medical aspects of our treatment programs, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care. Her compassionate approach and dedication to holistic healing play a crucial role in the recovery journey of our residents.
Director of Admissions
Aidan is a compassionate mental health and addiction professional with nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through recovery. Drawing on both personal and professional insights, he provides empathetic guidance to those navigating one of the most important decisions of their lives.
At The Healing Institute, Aidan leads the admissions process with care and professionalism, ensuring clients feel supported from their first call. He is also a passionate advocate for reducing stigma around mental health and addiction, committed to helping people take their first steps toward lasting change.
Operations Manager
Katie Eaton is a grounded and compassionate leader who believes that meaningful impact starts with intentional action. Her work is shaped by both lived experience and a deep desire to create spaces where healing, connection, and purpose can thrive. Before stepping into her current leadership role, Katie spent years supporting executives at RSG and Imperial Oil—learning firsthand how clarity, trust, and care can move organizations forward. She now brings that same presence to mission-driven work, where structure serves the people it’s built to support.

Counsellor
Liam has worked with children, youth, and families since 2006 in diverse treatment and educational settings. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Social Work, as well as a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. Liam specializes in trauma, attachment, and caregiver advocacy.
As Trauma and Attachment Specialist with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, he trained staff and foster families in trauma-informed care, and he continues this work at Camp fYrefly—supporting 2SLGBTQAI+ youth for eight years. An active advocate, he helps organize volunteer work through Gay It Forward. At The Healing Institute, Liam integrates clients’ life stories into their healing, fostering resilience and self-compassion.
Counsellor
Kyle holds an undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Care and a postgraduate certification in Mental Health and Addictions. Since 2011, he has been actively working in the mental health and addictions field, beginning his career as a support worker in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Over the years, he has developed a deep passion for this work and remain committed to supporting individuals on their unique recovery journeys.
Kyle's practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, with the belief that everyone has a story worth hearing. He sees storytelling as a powerful tool for fostering connection, building resilience, and supporting meaningful growth and healing.
Outside of my professional life, Kyle finds grounding and renewal in nature. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and believe that connecting with the natural world plays an important role in personal well-being and healing.

Dr. Forster brings decades of expertise in addiction medicine and chronic pain treatment. As Medical Director, he ensures every client receives individualized, attentive care. A member of the American and Canadian Societies of Addiction Medicine, he is dedicated to advancing treatment standards through clinical excellence and compassion.
Nurse Practitioner
Nicholas has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2013, bringing over a decade of experience in primary care and addiction medicine. After nearly four years with the BC Cancer Agency, he completed advanced training in addiction care through the BC Centre for Substance Use under the mentorship of Dr. Gerrit Prinsloo. Nicholas balances his work between Cedars and his primary care practice, and continues to mentor Nurse Practitioner students from UBC. At The Healing Institute, he provides compassionate, client-centered medical support to individuals navigating recovery.
Nurse Coordinator
Nina is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over a decade of healthcare experience, blending compassion with clinical expertise. After a career in the pharmaceutical industry, she pursued nursing as a way to make a direct and meaningful impact on client care, graduating from the LPN program in 2016. Nina has since worked in hospitals, long-term care, and community health, developing a holistic perspective on supporting individuals through diverse challenges. At The Healing Institute, she coordinates nursing services with precision and empathy, ensuring clients feel safe and supported throughout their recovery journey. Outside of her role, Nina enjoys exploring the outdoors and brings that sense of balance and adventure to her approach in healthcare.

Deidre brings a unique blend of structure, analytical insight, and compassion to her role as Continuing Care Coordinator. With a Bachelor of Science and ongoing studies toward a Bachelor of Business Administration, she supports clients and families in planning for life beyond treatment.

With experience as a pharmacy technician, care aide, and volunteer in the Bahá'í community, she leads THI’s support staff team with compassion and integrity. Sepideh is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients throughout their recovery journey.
