Core Programs
Our core programming is based on two foundations: the best available evidence on mental health and addiction and the interdisciplinary team to facilitate individualized treatment plans.
We believe care planning must be properly individualized to address the complex needs of mental health and addiction. We understand each patient is unique and our strengths lie in developing flexible and tailored programming for each person in our care.
Our trauma-informed service delivery is person-centred, recovery-oriented and engages the entire family system. High-quality care is always at the centre of our programs.
All treatment plans are developed based on the clinical and medical needs of each patient After a thorough psychosocial assessment, our clinical and medical staff will continue to monitor the treatment plan, making adjustments when needed to establish a comprehensive framework for long-term recovery and ultimately, improved quality of life.
The inpatient experience is designed to remove one from the influence of their day-to-day life and immerse them in a healing environment.
Comprehensive Assessment Process
There are often two different types of individuals seeking help through an inpatient setting. One who has a clear condition that is causing them to struggle or not reach their potential, while a second person enters treatment not understanding exactly what is causing their suffering. They often have a complex presentation of symptoms that create confusion as to exactly what is causing them to suffer.
At The Healing Institute, our comprehensive assessment is designed to understand each individual and the unique circumstances that led them to reach out for help.
A comprehensive assessment will include:
- Psychiatric Assessment
- Addiction Assessment
- Psychological Assessment
- Physical Assessment
- Nutritional Assessment
- Recreational Therapy Assessment
